Do You Send Backlinks to www.domain-name.com/index.jsp or www.domain-name.com ?

    Before you start to link you really need to either have a 301 to remove the /index.jsp or keep it but your browser must redirect to one or the other else you're going to have some issues with duplicate content and all sorts

    That is correct, however due to it being a 301 on the same domain I highly doubt you'll lose any link juice from sending to the base domain by accident.

    if you don't have any index.html or index.htm (or any other index file for that matter) then index.jsp will be by default picked up by the browser (and search engine). so effectively any links pointing to domain.com/index.jsp will be pointing to domain.com and vice versa. so it doesn't matter in my opinion whichever you may use. they both are the same
