Do you ping Ezine articles? or backlink them?

    yes article marketers ping articles and put backlinks for them

    I'd backlink them for sure and be sure to submit your author RSS feed to all the aggregators / feed directories.

    Ezine, o yes i remember when they allowed you to actualy promote stuff for free content.

    I just blast it with one of my methods and get it to number one in the most published and most veiwed category...and then nice CTR:D

    Excellent start!

    What you do with your Ezine articles depends on what you are using them for.

    If you are using them strictly for backlinks to increase the SERPs of your site, then don't backlink them. You risk them outranking your own site.

    If, on the other hand, you are using them for traffic then you want to blast a ton of backlinks at them, as well as submitting the author's RSS feed to as many RSS aggregators as you can. Then ping the article, backlinks, everything.

    Yes I ping them, backlink them... I have good number of articles ranking for my sites on different niche and bringing me good volume of traffic and revenue... Some of my articles even got 500k+ views...

    I worked on those articles and they ranked for their keywords... :) Easy

    Does this really work...they seem to have two other sections called most recent articles and most relevant articles followed by the most published and most viewed....do people really go down that far?
