I have heard around that with the IPhones, when you disconnect and reconnect from the net you get a new ip, any ov you guys able to confirm this, em think'n of getting one mostly for this reason, and love to know before I hand over the $$$

also is this related to the network you use with it, As im here in Aus and I don't know if its going to be different.

i have an iphone, but not sure if it does reset the ip...interested in the answer also

Yes, it does. All you have to do is toggle "Airplane Mode". It will give you a new ip. To verify, all you have to do is use the Safari on your iPhone and go to whatismyip.com.

I know there was a way to use a hacked iphone kinda like a wireless card on the edge or 3g network... you could probably find it on big G.

there is a third party app called pdanet, that might just do that....but your iphone must be jailbroken...
