"Facebook sources were unofficially advising community managers to expect it to approach zero in the foreseeable future."

And Yeah, they're right, I've seen this happen to at least 5 pages that I own, not quite 0 but from 50K reach (5-10K clicks), in just one day, EVERYTHING CHANGED. Not a single reach passed 7K, not to mention that most of them haven't passed 2-3K which was unthinkable a few days ago, like the worst post I made was getting at least 7-10K reach.

But in the meanwhile, if I post pictures or videos or statuses directly to facebook, they take reach 10-20-50K, when posting a link BANG reach 1.5K...

Yup..I noticed this same thing. I even made a post about it back on March 12:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/facebook/657818-links-status-updates.html

I've posted extremely relevent links on some smaller 40-60k pages which would always get at least some traffic..Now, practically none. Yet, I can post an image and still see likes, comments, and shares coming in..

This new algo may have completely killed links in page posts!

Curious as to how others are being affected, my pages reach is down on links but my personal news feed has more of them than ever.

Maybe they are reducing the number of organic link shares > boosted posts etc.

Facebook shows the content from sources it thinks are 'quality' sites. Big fish eats small fish! You should read up more on this.

What does this have to do with posting on pages? You really think FB is going to show a status update which contains a link to 'google.com' in front of more people than a status update which contains a link to 'abcde.com'? Gotta say, I really don't think that's the case. Especially if you're posting FB links and not links out of Facebook.

I think this whole thing might have to do with what th0m4s said...Practically forcing people to buy boosts.
