If so, where? I seen a WSO about it, $10/month to get this sent to your email:

    • 16 profitable product niche keyword bundles delivered by email (4 per week).
    • At least 30 (sometimes more) long-tail, under-targeted, high ranking SEO keywords per niche.
    • All keywords are Google exact match and show local and global search volumes, SOC (strength of competition), and CPC (cost per click).
    • Available keyword domain names (.com, .org, .net).
    • All keywords are researched by hand each month so you can be assured you are getting good niche research.
    What do you guys do?

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

Where did you find this? I always thought about it.

I always just assumed that if I outsourced a major part of what i'm doing that it'd end up hurting me in the long run but for 10$ a month i'd deff give this a go.

Do you happen to know if you can specify a particular niche you want them to only do keyword research for?

PS: It is on the first page of Warrior Room.

This is not something I would do. In my mind, the point of keyword research is to locate a solid money-maker keyword that no one else is targeting. That certainly won't be the case if there's a list being handed out with the keyword on it. It also won't be the case if anyone else does it for you.

If you outsource keyword research then the person doing it may find a true golden goose keyword in the niche you want, but he keeps that for himself and gives you the worse ones while still pocketing your money.

Best to do these things alone and keep it to yourself.

The only situation where this wouldn't apply for me is if it was a keyword that we all know is being targeted. In that case, you and all the other competing IMers know that each other is going for it anyways. There is no secrecy there of course.

I outsource my keyword research and I definitely contemplated the risks of someone snatching up my golden nuggets. But I came up with a strategy that's worked flawlessly for me. The best way to do this is fine someone totally clueless about SEO and online marketing and teach them to do this for you. Most won't have a clue as to what to do with the golden nuggets when they find them so no risk. I make camtasia vids showing them exactly what to do and they follow it to a t. I never explain in detail the why, I just tell them do this, then that, then this and that's it. Been working like a charm ;)

I'm sorry but I didn't get it, if you make videos when you do keyword research then why the hell do you want to outsource?
What do you tell them to do when finding keywords?

Google Adwords and the exact phrase count and intitle/url/anchor in Google. Those 5 functions is all you need for keyword research. He outsources because 10 people can do more than one and he can expand.

well i thing i can say is stay out of wordtracker. once i was working on a project and the company bought me a subscription from them. when you type a keyword it gives you some nice ideas but that is just. You are very very limited for deep search i think 500 or some/day. and also the estimated search numbers were a huge joke.

    Hi,

Outsourcing is meant for boring and repetitive tasks, but i think that market and keyword research is so fun, you get to see what people are thinking and how are they behaving online ...

This is exactly the one and only reason I have not outsourced this yet.

I've talked about this same exact idea with several friends of mine and they suggested and we talked about the same as some else had mentioned that you hire someone that has absolutely no idea what the keyword research will do or what it's even good for.

Problem is, I don't even know where to start for that? Maybe put an ad in the paper or not even sure.

My only experience with outsourcing so far was I once hired someone to write articles For sites and for article directories and man it took this girl like 4-5 days to write one article. She was let go very very quickly.

I think you almost have to do it yourself. If you are going to be building a site/blog about something, then it would be in your best interest to do the kw research yourself in my opinion.

To answer your question though, I do all of my research myself. I don't feel like it is something that should be outsourced.

Some of my thoughts on why are ...
    1. If you outsource this, or hire people like the WSO you mentioned, how do you know they are not sending the same results to everyone?
    2. How are you going to know for sure that the keyword research is done correctly?
    3. Really how long does it take?

I think it is really apart of the process to becoming succesful if that is the route that you are going to take with building sites and blogs. You need to do the research yourself and outsource the link building, unique content, and other things.

Outsource content writing, website design, backlink building but never outsource keyword research. Just learn it.
