    hi,
when choosing your adsense ad size, do you consider mobile traffic?
i'm displaying a large skyscraper in the sidebar and on desktop it really looks good and draw attention to it but on mobile you have to scroll all the way down to see it. so i replaced it with a responsive one but on desktop it's too small and i don't think it will perform well
    what do you think?

Yes, I ensure that my ads function on the mobile version of my sites regardless of how many visitors are visiting my sites from mobile devices based on my analytics data.

If you're receiving a substantial number of mobile visitors, then use the ad size that converts the best. This will require you to split test different ad sizes for a while, but it's well worth it in my opinion, especially if you're not currently making much money.

In regards to your ad display issue, try to increase the width of your sidebar. I cannot say for certain if this will work, but it doesn't hurt to try it.

i don't think increasing the site width will solve the problem. it will only mess my site layout. but i noticed that on mobile the ad displayed at the end on the page becomes the first and the one on the sidebar becomes the last. so i guess it's a win-win situation

Use 300x250 ads as they're compatible with both desktop and mobile, and will also give you the best results

you have to scroll down to see it on a mobile because of the mobile display, wordpress loads content then moves widget area down. When choosing adsense code for both mobile and desktop use the responsive code as it automatically resizes to fit the container, so it will resize for you on mobiles to fit the screen etc.

Of course, mobile traffic is a big part of internet now. You should optimize your website so that your ads will look nice on mobile devices. If the change is ruining your click ratio, you should probably try something else. Experiment and figure out what works best for you.

From my experience i would not suggest mobile friendly pages because your ctr will decrease with 2 ads in post one under the title and the other at the end of the article. I have an average of 15k uv/day. This is how works for my visitor

What! google now wants mobile friendly sites, people will not resize pages to read them. Read this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-32380223
