Do you lose juice if you have external nofollow links?

So I was just reading an article that was #1 on google when I searched and wanted to ask here if that is correct.

They claim that if you use nofollow,linked website won't receive any juice but you will still lose same amount of juice as you would if you linked normally.

Is their article correct?
 
Yes that's correct.But that is not a big problem for your blog. No need to worry about that...
 
Algorithm always fluctuations. If this year is true, maybe next year wrong. One maintain traffic is, you have a powerful source of traffic and not influenced by anyone
 
Yes, the link juice of nofollow links will just evaporate. This was done to prevent Pagerank sculpting.
 
There's juice and sharable juice, two separate pools, your site won't lose anything whether the external links are follow or nofollow.
 
Google did this so you couldn't do "PR sculpting".

Like nofollowing 90% of links and then following the 3 or 4 you wish to give more weight within your site so you could "route PR".

So they simply discount all nofollow links as normal links but they don't follow them, as the name implies.
