do you know how to disable back button on a browser?

    i tried with :

              history.forward();
              </script>
    
    but it's only worked on inner page, i want code that works on my homepage..

    can it be done?

    any help will be appreciated...

    Then burn in hell because it is hellish bad manners and I hate everyone who does that. :smashfrea

    On a serious note, it does not keep people on your page. Google also will slap & de-index it.
    It makes people angry, then try to figure out how to get back to their last page.
    THEN it causes them to LOSE your page ...and thus they don't buy/download from you.

    What you really want to do is prompt them to bookmark/add to favorites

    just what i need.. yes i've changed my mind.. i'd rather focus in promoting my page..
