the more and more i read, seems so. i have a solid background in affiliate marketing through channels like ppc, ppv, a bit of email and offline. it looks like i may have stepped into the wrong arena here though. seems as if i have a lot of plugin/seo education ahead of me. anyone want to swap war stories? maybe we can learn from each other. i have a ton of ppc experience and maybe i can help you out and you can help me with seo/plugin related questions?

yah, i was lead to believe there were other methods besides the serps. i recently purchased a guide with some alternate methods, but i may have to just go back to kicking ass with my ads above and to the right of you SEO jockeys :) you're prolly right, google is prolly still the main way all these guys get 90% of their traffic. sad really, but hey..

just be careful if you use adsense on your autoblogs, other type of traffic than organic SERP's could become dangerous of getting banned

thanks bud, i'm not a big fan of adsense and was going to use cpa offers instead. monetization shouldn't be tuff for me, but getting my head around some of this SEO crap is really a pain. well i'm still pluggin though.

Go with adbrite if you have a lot of traffic. Its probably still against the TOS but they arent as big as adsense so you may get away with it.

If you have a solid background in PPC that means you are good in keyword analysis and research ... that means SEO :)

    Or you can't compare?

If you need to learn SEO just read some good SEO ebooks (request in the Download section) and join SEO forums ... you'll learn it quickly with this background that you have.
