do you have this problem with your site too???

    guys i just installed the thesis theme for my wp site and modified my site.
    its looks great on FF but when i check it on IE and Safari i see a small square
    at the top of my site, when i click on it, it opens a new window to my site on
    safari and on ie it opens a blank page.
    what is it?? how can i fix this??

    You need to optimize it for each browser. Look it up on Google.

    guys i cant find any info on google about this, i tried to look for some info about thesis
    theme and IE but nothing, i need your help i am sure you know how to fix this

    guys i asked my host to help me find out what is the problem with the thesis theme
    om my wp site in IE and Safari browsers.
    the said that the little square that i see at the top of my site is this code:

    <div id="bannerdiv"><a href="" target="_blank" onclick="BannerClick()"> <img src="" alt="" style="border: 0pt none ;"></a></div>

    but the thing is that i dont know where to find this code to delete it, anyone can help
    me out on this??

    Change the theme, man. There's a lot of WP theme out there that support to all browser.

    no man i want to use thesis, its a wp theme
    and i like it a lot
    i am sure there is a solution to this problem but i cant find it

    If you didn't buy the theme then it could be in a function which someone created inside custom_functions.php so I would look there first. I use Thesis on lots of sites but I haven't a clue if this happens with Safari. I actually bought a developers license for the theme and the support forum is a goldmine of information if you want to modify anything.

    From your description it seems like its a spot to place a banner pic for your site. Different browsers will render that code different ways. FF will not show it. But IE will show the box because there is code but no source defined for what to place there. So you have a choice. In the img src="put something" or pull the code out.
    It most likely would be in the header.php file.

    where can i find that image to put the code??
    i am looking on the theme to find the code of the square for 3 days now
