Just curious if you SB users go out of your way to look for .edu domains? I just usually look for regular high pr domains and don't really do the .edu thing. I'm thinkin I might start mixing it up though. Also when you guys scrape for .edu, are you manually submitting your link to these sites? Thanks.
I know in the past .edu links seemed to carry more weight. Not sure if it's still the same because G changes things so frequently. Might want to test it and see what happens and get back to us.
in my opinion it is indivdual and you should check yourself which way work for you better. I personally mix but submit automaticaly, but it is only how I do it.. Cheers
I've always heard that .EDU is important. But I see a lot of people selling .EDU. I mean how can we truly know if the .EDU worth well? Is it the domains name age that count the weight? By the way, might be a bit out of topic. but how do I force google to index my site or something?
Social Bookmark your site or mass submit an article to article directories with a link pointing back to your site. EZ PEEZY.
.edu links are more difficult to get, compared to a regular blog link. So it will always (and in the future) hold a greater value. And most .edu site have a good age and high PR for the main domain.
