Do you guys offering seo/web design services to offline client have a company name ?

As the title, do you have a company if you get many clients a day, I'm considering doing offline aswell but wondering if registering a company name would help, I know it would but I also read that there is lot of headache having a company.And, when clients pay you, don't they want you to give them invoice ? And do we need to have a company to be able to give invoice ?

Hmm? You can create an invoice yourself. Payment processors can also send invoices. If you're serious about being a business then yes, a license would be good to have. Your clients may check that you have one and not having one can be a deterrent.

Give them Electronic Invoices not Real paper Invoices. That way you are safe End. Also Mention that You refund or Legal action can be taken on this Invoice..because I give invoices for my Hosting Business to local people with simple they can not take any legal action with that invoice. and Named Invoice as Quotation Book. So it is not actual a invoice.

Yes they are more comfortable if you are a real company. When I closed my first deal I was not yet a registered business but I acted as if I was, the day I closed the deal I went down to my county clerks office and registered the business name, no joke. 90% of my clients pay by check and not paypal, and they write the checks out to my business name. It makes it seem way more professional IMO... btw I don't have a website, I do but it's been in maintenance mode for 2 years with no content lol. If you get results and have referrals nobody cares if you have a website. Good luck

Yes, electronic invoices with company name, company address, phone, website, etc. The more legit you are (or at least, can fake), the more businesses will trust you.

The reason that you need a business name early on is to show credibility and to position yourself as a serious business person just like them. They're are most likely to do business with John Smith from BHW Media Services than with John the seo dude. Present yourself in the most professional way in the beginning and get a real business license or whatever is needed in your locality as soon as you can.
