Do you guys enjoy IM and SEO?

I've had a lot of shit jobs in my life. Some were really degrading. I've never enjoyed the work I do, neither when I've worked at construction sites nor when I've had office jobs. Never have I enjoyed those tasks. It's always been a drag.

Now I basically work for myself with IM.

Right now I am uploading an article, fixing headlines, editing the writers text, adding pictures and so on.

I realized that I enjoy all of this. The work itself, not just the money or freedom of being my own boss. But the actual work is entertaining and interesting. To build, develop, create and so on. Even the most dragged out processes are quite fun. It's work and hobby.

I'd never thought I would enjoy work.

Apart from being your own boss and the money that comes with it - do you guys enjoy doing SEO and IM or are you just in it for the bread?

I obviously don't enjoy Google updates that muy thai kick me in the balls. Can't dodge them, so you have to absorb them like this

I like doing repetitive tasks and letting my mind wander but sadly they are not paid well...
 
I have spent the last however many years trying to make. I fucking love it
 
During the summer I work in the restaurant and I pretty much hate every single minute of it because I have to talk with a lot of annoying people. I just love IM and being able to work whenever I want and wherever I want. Sometimes I work from my bed, sometimes from my couch, sometimes from my table, and sometimes I just go for a road trip with my laptop and do the work there. Hopefully, my journey will be successful so I'll get a chance to visit some countries alone and do the work from there.

I really like it. That's way I've spent just around 8 months in office jobs. And it wasn't even for 1 position, because those 8 months were spread across 5 different positions in 5 different companies or even more, because I don't remember them.

Yes, I enjoy it not because of the money itself but because every day I am learning something new. It's not boring work/life.
 
I am currently learning SEO and I enjoy that.

Did any Google update kicked you to balls? And what you did wrong? Did they found out your PBNs?
 
Im enjoying it very much. Sadly we rely on google, so you wake up one beautiful day and you see huge drops on visitors on ranking.

Cool man.

Yes, mainly medic update. It resulted in two of my main sites tanking. It was a mix of low quality and bad luck. But it was a valuable lesson. Now I have several sites, so if one of them gets hit by Google I still have others that earn me money.
 
I wouldn't be here writing on this thread if I'm not enjoying it.
 
I'm involved in several projects, that include SEO, Media Buying and some other stuff with Youtube etc. as well - With IM the learning curve can be really steep in the beginning and it will not make a lot of fun/it won't bring you much enjoyment at first - This is because there is so many information to absorb and there is no university for this. So your best bet is to learn by doing and most people cannot do that, because lets face it. We all have failures in our IM Journey, including me, i am no Media Buying Wizard or Youtube Guru as some people would say. But once you have learned a few things in IM and have gone through your first failures, there will come a time where you will succeed as well, and those times are great.

Anyway, IM can be both a dream or the hell on earth. The amount of effort and time you put in will determine how good and how wealthy you will become.
