What is the percentage of girls/guys forced into porn compared to overall number of pornstars?

If a huge chunk say upto 30% is forced then something is really wrong somewhere. While I believe there are a fee people who were likely forced into porn the vast majority aren't forced due to the nature of the industry and the kind of attention and scrutiny it attracts.

By porn I mean actual porn not sextape kind of production than end up getting leaked or published without the girls/guys consent.

that percent is probably lower than 1% if we're keeping it real (atleast in north america)
women on social media see others making a killing on onlyfans, and join VOLUNTARILY.

and inregards to the convo of women being forced into stuff ... i PERSONALLY know a guy who had to go to court for something like this .... because the woman LIED and said she was forced, although it was 100% consensual and voluntarily. Some women will lie about this stuff to save face ... to make them look like less of a slut and so they can pull the victim card or face less charges depending on what they are doing.

I'we been in adult sites business for a while, cashed some cheques. Never thinking about it. This morning wife and I had coffee with our mutual friend which is female. She said that I am never going to succeed with porn, because it's bad karma. She said that all this girls in porn are tortured and are acting agains their will. Nonsense I sad and opened up youtube to post some soft porn.

Do you think about that sometimes?

You can't let you conscience get the better of you. If one person don't do it, there is always another to take that place. All in all, it honestly doesn't matter!

You shouldn't care what your friend thinks about your work, which is putting food on the table for your family and is totally legal. Next time just don't tell people what you do. Come up with some fancy and technical term they'll never drill further about. It was your friend, not wife, who said it, right? Either way, the moment you'll start looking for excuses for your work and start apologizing, promising change, they'll lose all respect for you. Do the opposite, own it. But as I said, in the future you can avoid this by simply not telling people what your job is.

I would feel guilty, but mainly worried, if I were listening to some Karen opinion

" Noone's forcing them into it, " Really?

I've friends in the UK police who are detectives and regularly find people forced into porn by criminals who are classed as organised crime.

How wrong your comment is and how far out of touch people really are, they think that way.

I heard that there is actually a lot more people forced by someone to post content on facebook and IG than in porn, it's a lot faster to force a "slave" to post on social medias than shooting content for porn.

Porn is diabolised in such a way that we don't see the other slaveries around the internet.

In some countries, people are also forced to write content all day every day, it does not mean that we should ban all blogs no?

Deep investigation is necessary like always but condemning the whole porn industry because of forced cases is wrong I think because it exists on all popular websites.

Look at this :

The problem is not porn, it's a lot deeper than this...

Guys you missed the point of the post. I was actually asking should I feel guilt since I am affiliate of porn. I am not producer or anything about making it. I am just distributing porn over websites and writing about it...
Porns bad mkay? Well at first i felt guilty but that was a childish mentality. I was 18. I have tried other stuff like youtube, apps on playstore but they didnt work out for me.

Well porn? It did pretty well. Since most of internet traffic goes to porn why not get a piece of cake?

I live in third world country.
Before porn i was working as a waiter getting around 145 usd a month, tips not included but they werent that great either. Waking at 6 am working for 8-9 hours.

Now you might say 145 usd is good at your country but it isnt.

Just rent and basic taxes like eletricity and water might go up to 200+ Usd a month.

I live in a country in Europe where our politicians are known as the most corrupted in the world.

Now what should i choose? Work 8-9 hours for 300usd max in a month or porn where i make 700 - 800 usd a month? Not to mention that the things i am doing dont even take one hour a day.

I dont have to wake at 6. I can work when i want.
I have much more time to work on other things.

If i would find something else to bring me more money of course i would quit.

I dont want to watch porn videos daily.

I care more about the consequences that porn does to me than feeling guilty.

You're right. The entire industry is so strict that a little mistake could destroy ones life. Like casting an under age, thwre there are stories of girls lying about their age only to be discovered they're a year or so younger than allowed. It's hard for someone to be forced into, not that it's impossible.

You're just a small fish in the food chain, earning small money compared to those who actually produce porn and create adult content.
If you will be one day one of the biggest sharks like BigBros producer or own sites like OnlyFans, this is when you should ask this question.

You have zero control or influence over this industry, so there is no guilt to feel.

Karma is on someone doing illegal stuff. Porn is legal.

Not illegal, 'unethical'. Something might be legal in some countries, but it is still unethical/immoral. Think about revenge porn: what if u r uploading some of those porns and through you people are being able to watch other peoples personal stuff without their concent.

You are not directly involved in this. You are just taking a part of a rotten cake.
The stigma is on you. Karma is on someone doing illegal stuff. Porn is legal.

I don't believe what your wife has said since many women post their naked images and videos voluntarily on the web.

So the affect is merely mental.
If you spread your income wisely, you will not even notice the impact and with time this type of money making method will become boring.
haha taking a part of a rotton cake, wow i've never heard that one before.

This is the exact reason why my father taught me not to be friends with females. No "friendly" sit-downs, discussing life and constantly going out or whatever. You either wife that shit up or fuck her on the weekends, or have some type of business. Nothing else, or after a while - you'll start becoming more sentimental, more soft, more vulnerable, less of a man and simply more feminine. I swear, people can deny it but that's truth, always been like that.

Just tell her sentimental ass to stay out of a rational thinker's business and go sip a glass of wine, gossip or some shit. "You won't get successful with that, it's bad karma." I swear, if you keep listening to her and have sit-downs with her, sooner or later you will start highly believing in astrology, numerology and everything else associated with pure emotional manipulation of a human being.

Get in the fresh, deep waters where you haven't been. And in case if you start drowning, make sure you quickly flick out your middle finger to that girl just before you disappear underneath.

Porn where people are FORCED to do it is very rare.

COERCED? Different story.

If coercion bothers you then yes, porn is “bad” because much of it relies on coercion.
