    Hey folks,

I know while building web 2.0s and stuff like that you are forced to use generic names especially if you are doing this for each keyword, so you make lots of accounts, so you have to avoid detection and make it look like its a legit vote from someone else and you had nothing to do with it.

I am not addressing this part however.

Let's say you are building high quality links on User generated content platforms like medium and video platforms like youtube. (content and video marketing) with high copy, no spinned shit.

The idea here is to use one account per platform and make it as authoritative as it could get. i strongly believe that this is the future of seo, where you only do legit promotions and add value to each link.

yeah i know its hard and take way longer, but it's the best way.

So, would you prefer to use your own brand name as a user name or would you go for generic name?

I think the brand name will add huge value to your site and brand in the long run and will give authority as well not to mention being on the safe side and always passing any reviews.

    So what do you think?

Thank you for your feedback. i rather create a brand name and promote with it (brand name and target keywords as anchor texts) that way i target medium keywords on my site and back it with high quality content on sites like medium. I can also go after hard keywords on such sites and build high quality tier two to it, of course i will link back to my own site while doing genuine content marketing and seo at the same time on such a big site with big community and powerful domain authority backing it.

Think of it as the same way you create your own social media pages with your own brand and info and everything. So you never compromise on quality. It's a very hard process but success is nothing but guaranteed. :)

This applies only to genuine sites selling services, products...ETC) don't even think about it if you are doing content lockers, pirated movies, adult...ETC) (lower tier sites) ... These are my two cents, I just wanted to know what BHW thinks.
