Since I don't see myself as attractive but I respect myself, I've noticed that people find it difficult to accept me, unlike attractive people. Has anyone noticed this and how have you dealt with it?

Not always, but females are much more likely to have their opportunities influenced by their appearance. I'm talking largely about business, and whilst it's probably not as prevalent these days, it's definitely still happening to a degree. My two cents.

There are multiple attractions, appearance, verbal, psychological, intellectual, strength to name a few.
Find out what is your strength and focus on people who are attracted to that.

Edit Almost forgot the biggy :
Money.
Who don't attract to money? They are lying when they say they don't.

This is absolutely true. Besides being born in a decent country, being born to loving parents, and being born healthy, you can make a case that being born an attractive person is perhaps the next biggest advantage you can be given at the start of your life. The world is shallow and vast majority of people you encounter will judge you on appearance.

Proof of this is the millions of dollars that some talentless 18 year old girls are making on OF just cause they're hot. Even for men it matters, but being born attractive as a man isn't typically life-changing like it can be for women

yes, this is being since always, but that never should stop you to continue or move on, sometimes is your attitude and change the way others see you, if they see you as a strong person they can relay on people will move around you, of course not crosing the line of defending everyone and doing everything for everyone but show them how strong you are.

As a sexy person, this is in fact true. I even have dense anime MC syndrome.

Though aren't we all beautiful and stunning individuals? What exactly happened for you to not think you are?

Tbh, yeah they do have more opportunities in life. I was in college and my classmate and I became close. She was a very pretty girl, and most guys would always try to help her with her assignments. After we got out of college, she was getting plenty of job interviews and even though she's a smart girl, a lot of these stuff happened because of how attractive she was.

Yup, it's pretty common with hot girls.

Chris Rock has a joke on every time a man talks to a woman whether to ask for directions, a random question or whatever else, he's essentially saying to her "how about some dick?"

Maybe, but I'd argue of all people I know who made something of themselves in life none are particularly attractive. Money and network seem to play bigger roles for opportunity.

Look, it’s undeniable – people judge with their eyes first.

Gotta use what makes you different as your edge.

running to store for buying face creams. @Yes attractive people have all the opportunities in corporate unless you are ugly and have mid of a scientist.... I was told to not go to bpo interviews any further by "Wipro" company because my voice and personality is bad.... That's why I am into business of buying websites since 2008

yeah 100%, its natural human behavior

even if you aren't born naturally beautiful, there's a lot of things you can do to improve your overall looks

everyone working in corporate world is a thief and people with white skin working in retail store in India is assumed to be honest and they fool you into buying very expensive mobile phones. Since 2020 I stopped visiting retail stores and saved 50% in retail price on cloths and made right decision to buy feature phone in 2022 which I am still using. Though I own Samsung A 04 also.

That's why it's best to just educate yourself on these things.
