Sometimes WHOIS Guard subscription can have some impact on the overall cost or yearly expense. I'm using Namecheap and despite using the "WGSpecial" coupon, my overall expense is still high (since I have many domains).

Do you actually renew/extend your WHOIS guard protection? Or do you just let it expire and let the public know your details?

Sometimes I feel like just letting it expire and go unprotected but what I fear is those webmasters whom received my spam might send me a death threat letter :p

The only ones that i do this on is domains that i have over 30k visitors a month. Or any Customers web site i go ahead and have them pay to renew.

But for my sites if they have under 30k visits a month i don't worry about it.
