One of my main major observations, is that a good chunk of websites are not using advanced link building methods like social bookmarking, web 2.0's, and articles. They seem to just use a steady or flooding spam strategy, that somehow seems to still get them to the top. They appear to use tier 2-4 backlinks, again, just blogs and forum profiles, and they see success. If I used 7 different types of backlinks with around 25 platforms, would that be an effective method of outranking companies? I know some of the most important things in seo now are diversity, unique content, and white hat or careful methods.
