Do twitter traffic covnverts and make sales on clickbank?

Hi guys,
I gave all my time to twitter last night and built up a list of followers willing to loose weight. Then I tweeted a message that loose 3 pounds in three days " url here " . I got 30 clicks, but in my cb stats it showed that I got 80 impressions and only one order form impression. Please explain that AM I doing something wrong or twitter sucks?

What did your tweet say? Maybe it sucked?

Well from 30 clicks to getting one person to visit the order form page itself isnt totally bad.

But what homenet said - the key here is in first getting the people to click the tweet link and go to yoursite. - Afterall you dont want to spend all your time working on the salespage of your product only to be let down by your 140 character tweet.

Be creative, create urgency with the user and offer something free all in the same tweet

I tweeted three sentences given below.

Lost three pounds instantly " bit dot ly url here"
Best diet program ever is here " bit dot ly url here"
Get slim in matter of days "bit dot ly url here"

No offense, but those tweets don't really have anything to them. They don't grab the readers attention.

You could try something like: "I lost X pounds in 4 days using THIS diet: (clickbanklink)"

IDK though, I've had days where I get sales back to back, then nothing for a week... Clickbank is not consistant unless you market on a large scale.

Those tweets suck my friend, no offence.

"Best diet program ever is here" is by far the worst.

You need something that doesnt sound like spam and that catches the readers attention. Try something like:

"Want to loose weight the easy way? Try blar blar blar"
"Struggling to loose weight? So was I until I used blar blar blar"

Something along those lines but I'm by no means an expert when it comes to writing convicing sales titles so take it with a pinch of salt.

Guys I think that I suck or what I am doing sucks.
I picked a tinnitus cure product and I got 74 hops and zero sales even zero order form impression count.
I think I have to first write catchy titles. By the way I think that main motive of writing catchy title is to get the user to click the url and I am getting clicks, But no sales, I am really worried. Can some one help, is there any professional twitter marketer here?

twitter is sucks 99% messages there are spam

Product: Farmville Guide
Method: Targeted DMs to all followers of Farmville Twitter Page
Tweet: Varied from 30 different worded tweets
Total DMs: 13,200
Clicked Through: 386
Order Form Impressions: 8
Purchased: ZERO!

Burned out 25 Twitter accounts for ZERO sales.

So I have mixed emotions about Twitter. I use it in a different way now to direct followers ot my money accounts through using the "mention" features.

Twitter for most people seem's to be about making sales!

Why not send them to a freebie offer with an upsell much later on once you have built up their trust in you?

Then actually in twitter itself send out trick tweet's that are directly related to your niche and people will read and use or learn something new from!

Like if your in the Weight Loss niche then you could tweet about a celebrity who has been snapped on the beach and called fat and ask for their opinions... or tell them about a new exercise etc etc

I think that the youtube and twitter sucks, but the best way to make money from these two sources is to make a squeeze page and capture all the emails. Then send them your offers, I think this has worked for many people. An other advice dont spend any money. Take a free dot tk domain ( good for SEO purposes), webhosting will be 000webhosts, and an auto responder plugin for wordpress which can be found at freeautoresponder dot biz. Try the method. Get some emails using twitter method to drive traffic and then check out that if you make sales or not. Even I have just thought of this method. Hope that it will work. Keep on giving advices.

Dude I think that face book will also not work because both of these are social networks and people over here are just looking for fun and free information so don't waste your time on these site, but I think they can be usefull to get opt-in list.

75+% of the 25k+ hops I get through twitter every day are bots which aren't filtered out of the clickbank stats (things like longurl.org, realurl.org and twitturls.com etc.). I usually have 25k hops, 10-15 order form impressions and 1 or 2 sales per day.

Hi b03s can you please tell us that how do you get 25k hops from twitter ?
Its insane amount of traffic, please share the strategy with us.

Twitter is useless guys.

I guess you need at least 100,000 followers to see a sale or two.
