Do traffic bots exist on iOS?

Hey, help out programming noob here please.

Do traffic bots (ones that usually come from paid ads) exist on iOS? and if they do, how common are they online? I'm trying to filter PPC traffic and noticed that the source I'm using has significantly high engagement on iOS than android phones and all the obvious spammy traffic runs on Android according to analytics.

I was wondering it was coincidence or there's a programming reason behind it.

I'm not sure what you're asking. I thought you means IM tools on iOS but reading again i don't even know..

Sorry for the confusion. I was just wondering how legit the traffic was coming from the apple devices. As you may know, publisher websites send tons of bot traffic to ad networks and as an advertiser it is pain in the ass to filter them.

okay to make it simple for you , that devices/browsers you see could be easily faked by changing parameter called user agent , click here
, here' bot example for you , download and install it -7days free trial is enough for your test - see how useragents list loaded and manipulate the traffic , in the site box put goo.gl shorten link , from goo.gl tracking page see how deviced/browsers and even http referrer site could be fake even you are sending from same machine bot .
