i bought a service on BWH for a small tiered link building. It consists of web 2.0 and articles.

however, i just started looking up the URLs in google to see if they are index and only a handful actually are indexed. Is that bad? Should I ping them somehow so they get indexed or is it fine as long as there is a link to my money site?

I suppose there were tier2 links as well?

I'd first run a link checker to see if thsoe tier2s are still live and linking to the tier1 posts. Naturally the crawlers would have visited those and followed through to your tier 1 links. Next, if all is well, I'd run them through some indexing services (all the links) and even get some social signals going to the web2.0s. They might be harder to index if the content used was (lightly) spun as Google isn't very open to indexing 100 copies of the same information (from my experience with web2.0s).

If they aren't indexed then they won't boost your site in SERP's. Try social bookmarking to those web2.0 urls so you can get indexed them very fast.

I would try to bookmark those webs. But please don't ping them because that is a very very old trick that doesn't work. You could send some link with GSA It works for me.
