Yeah, I've seen people selling SEO-optimized web templates and I wonder if it really works...?

Anyone? Do SEO-Optimized templates work?

No one can answer this. It depends from template to template. IF it is good optimized yes if bad no ;)

Most important is the right h1 h2 h3 and so on Tags and a good internal Link structure. Rest in my opinion is only Cosmetic.

Also fuck all those Content is King shit. Great Links are still King period :)

According to geore brown over at WF (google sniper creator) google hates dirty HTML code - he recommends using wordpress template, seo six pack plugin, google sitemap generator and a default theme - this is "clean" - he maintains a lot of generators - like xsite pro etc , produce very "dirty" html and it is this which affects their seo - I tested his theory -guess what - I found TOP results - 5th on page 1 in 21 million inside of 5 days - am doing a split test now to see

hope this helps

Nearly all of these questions can be answered with this:

It is a factor, the extent to which it is important is unknown...

Basically just good semantic code, and try and order to code in importance of the document, i.e. dont have the sidebar above the content in the source code. Then just make sure you stick stuff in like h1,h2,meta tags..

SEO optimized templates do work, with enough good backlinks non SEO'd templates work just as well also.

It's all about backlinks.
