Just a quick question to anyone that has a bit on knowledge with this. I was wondering if spamming referral links passes any link juice onto the main domain.

For example say I spammed the hell out of my website using a referral link instead of a filter page or linking directly. Would this still improve my rankings for my keyword.

    name: main keyword
    website: www. mysite.com/?ref=242
    comment: bla bla bla

edit: I'm also asking this because spamming using a referal link doesn't look like the domain owner is spamming it looks like the websites users are spamming. Which shouldn't have a negative effect on ranking, but if it doesn't pass on any link juice this is pointless.

As long as you can't see "nofollow" tag in their code it passes link juice to other site.
