Because if you do and decide to activate them, they would have already lost their ranks, just like mine. I'm not sure what kind of shitty algorithm fiverr has, it ranks newly created gigs over high rated ones.

I don't think it's because of suspending gigs. New shitty gigs just keep popping up in 'auto'! It's really annoying!

Auto tends to show the most relevant in terms of keyword search. I hardly use fiverr search now use Google ;)

i second this, from time to time i suspend all my gigs when i know i won't be available online for a few days and i haven't experienced any drop in ranking because of this

btw fiverr needs a button which enables to suspend all gigs at once instead of suspending every each of them one-by-one

i think it's just coincidence and the usual dance this time maybe for dubstep :)

one solution to make yourself immune to ranking drops: get thousands/ten thousands of positive feedbacks like spyguyzz for his twitter gig, i reckon nobody will be able to outrank him in the foreseeable future

No that is just temporary. Dont worry. Suspending gig doesnt have a loss in ranking but yeah you can see a dip for a day or two or three maybe but there is no permanent or huge ranking loss. I tried this once when i was overloaded with orders and I paused one of my gig and after 12 hours i resumed. Yes for 1 day the sales were low but after 2 days they came back..

Make sure you keep on delivering your order in time when in suspend mode otherwise it will cause degrade in rankigns

I know of a guy that allows suspends his gig due to too much work and reactive within a few hours of the day every day and he has been steady with his sales ever since.

I think you should focus more on offering quality work above your competitor and offer good customer service, you will not only enjoy repeated customers but will be referred to others.

Guys, I never said I'm compromising in the quality, it's the exact opposite, I'm always over-delivering and I have great feedback, many of them. It's just fiverr search system sucks.

YEAH, DO NOT suspend your gigs.

I lost my level 2 as soon as I clicked the "SUSPEND" button.

Fiverr sucks... what's worst when the buyer has some attitude problem.

I was selling my own personalized wiki list in the past. Several buyers bought and they were satisfied with it. My gig rating was 100%.
Then came this asshole whom wanted the list asap. But during that time it was night time in my area and I was sleeping.
In the morning when I Woke up, he kept updating the gig multiple times for the list.

I gave it to him. Several hours later, he comes complaining that my list was shitty. He claims that when he combines his list and my list, he only got about a few thousands of unique sites... not as advertised. I was like WTF. How is that my problem?
I mean, it is like a person buys a product bundle pack and he already owns one of the product in the bundle pack, and he isn't happy about it and blames me... how am I liable for that? Also, at least he got a few thousand of new uniques!

Of course, trying to be a good businessman, I told him I could give him another unique wiki list. His replies were something like, "It's gonna be crappy like your first one. No. Refund, thanks."

Afterwards I was searching for other wiki list in fiverr, and I didn't know I came across that asshole's gig. When I ordered, he decline and told me this, "I don't want your business and anything to do with you. Thanks."

    Wtf mate.

Funny one Blackseng, I think you should just leave him (and refund him if gig rating means much for you), afterall it's just a list, you didn't input hard work into the delivery. But if you do receive a negative feedback, just talk to the support.

LOL..Complain that to Fiverr. They will surely help you with it. You shoudn't have refunded to him first of all. Such Azzholes pop up but you need to be professional to deal with them. I dealt with 1 asshole for 5 days while keep the support updated. And you can always get ur feedback removed. Just tell the support that the guy stole your Wiki list and is offering it in his Fiverr gig. I am sure support will help you

I've heard this a few times before, so instead of suspending my gigs, I tend to just increase the delivery time. If I'm going away for a few days for example I'll just increase the delivery time by 3-4 days.

I guess this isn't an option with express gigs, but I haven't had to do this for a while and never whilst running express gigs.
