Why should I not join Clickbank for my Blogs??? That is the question. I have heard positive comments, but what do you guys believe is the number 1 reason not to join.

    Because Clickbank tracking sucks.

And only about 1/2 of your sales will be counted.

Do it if it doesn't cost you anything, like free traffic but don't waste money on CB.

Pursue CPA instead. You'll have better returns.

    What exactly do you mean?
Joining Clickbank as an affiliate is free, so why shouldn't you? Then you can sell CB-products on your blogs as an affiliate.

Joining clickbank as a publisher costs $50, then you can sell your own products via Clickbank. Don't really know what's bad about that.

You might as well. You can usually find some room to stick some banners in the sidebar or above the first post. They add some color to your blog too.

    kingbrend,

Why do you say that Clickbank tracking sucks? What are you basing it on? I'm not disagreeing, just wondering what led you to think this.

classic example of someone looking for an excuse NOT to get started making money. quit looking for an excuse and just start doing the shit... no business is perfect, and neither is life. It's kind of like saying "I dont want to make an easy $100 today, because someone might have taken the extra $25"

Do a search on Clickbank in DP or even a few threads in this forum.

It's all over the place on their tracking.

    It just isn't the best.

I stopped spending money on CB a year ago, and just use free traffic now.

I still get a few sales a day, which is alright for not spending any money, but until they have something better then open cookie affiliate links, I won't waste anymore PPC money on them.

Thanks guys. I am not a publisher so I will not be spending any money. Although making your site a little more colorful is appeasing, I am looking to make money. Adsense has worked well so far for making money, however I am not getting the nich ads that my site requires. If I will be loosing money from clickbank then I don't think it's worth it. But I have no money to loose, since it is free...

I think I will join ClickBank and give my own opinion in 6 months.

    Thanks.
