Yes , why? If they have a good understanding of American English.
No, why? Could be anything like english not being first language.Best option for this is hire native writer if you can.

Ever heard of FreshWorks? The site/service developed by non-us (Indian) company from Chennai.

@seomaster5 Ideally you want to sound as non-native as possible, the reason behind that is because your audience is from Tier 1 countries and you don't want your content to seem alien. Like with everything else, there's obvious variance, I would say anything that sounds 80 - 90% native is fine. Pushing beyond that may give you diminishing returns. There are two things that turn your content into good content 1) grammar/sentence structrue 2) the actual info/presentation in your content. So focus on the second bit a lot more, which is really catering to the search intent. Answer the search query better than your competition and you will be fine. You don't have to be native to be successful in IM.

Americans aren't experts when it comes to english grammar and comprehension, you'd be surprised :p

Let's make a thread about a non-issue.

You connect to someone faster if they have same native language as yours.

Your subconsious mind connects to someone easily if he is speaking the same tone/language as your childhood tone/language.

If u want traffic from the US- then having american writers help.

If your arricle is written by a US native writer then his arricle will connect better subconsciously to other americans ~ hence higher sales.

In the past- i used non-native writers and their content could not convert as good.

So yeah. Go for US native writers content (if u want traffic from the US).

I purposely seek out non-US writers because I am cheap as hell. Where your live has no bearing on how well you write English.

This is completely true in my experience. Same reason why YouTube channels are popular in same country.

Yes and no. As long as your command (or lack there) of english and us culture does not inhibit your ability to get a point across, then you should be able to successfully rank and generate a us audience. definitely one of the more competitive geos though for sure

Yes US writers charge a lot but it can make the project successful also.

No issue with it, but you should be aware of the trends over there and keep your site updated with native content.

i think americans aren't expert when it comes to english grammer :)

If they are good at writing with good grammar then no issues with that. In fact you will be more profitable than using native writers

Why not, if you are good at your work. Many US clients prefer to outsource the work and they are happy with it.
