Do newbies really earn purchasing niche/authority sites on BHW?

There are dozens of sellers in the web design section that are selling ready made niche/authority sites claiming that you'll start earning after "little to no SEO". So my question is from the experienced people here.

Would you recommend a newbie to buy a site here?

    - Buy a ready made site
    - Spend another $100 on SEO (would this amount be enough?)
    - Spend weekly ~$10 on articles

So after all these investments, can a newbie really expect to have a decent ROI if he can't do the SEO and article writing himself?

Experienced people, what's your take on the ready made site sellers here on BHW with reference to a newbie buying a site or two?

Honestly it's more of a time saver than anything. Same reason why people buy already made niche-specific web 2.0s

What your buying is an already made site filled with content. But no matter how nice it looks I doubt it will rank with no back links.

But if you already have a working method to getting traffic then buying an already made site saves you a day or two.

Buying one of those sites is like buying a new guitar. It's your playing that'll make you famous not the guitar you bought ;)

Save yourself the money, don't believe the ridiculous claims they make.

Edit: If you meant the established websites that already have traffic/revenue then they may be a good investment.

I tried few sellers from bhw, I don't want to be rude or something, but from my experience they are not excellent.
You will get a niche that is far away from low competitive, so $100 will not be enough for SEO, only if you buy articles and you do your own SEO. Also, the layout of the niche website is very basic they practically add a theme, a logo(that you can make for free on internet),articles with 1 image and you get meta titles and meta description for each page because this is what ON Page SEO means, only meta data (joking).

Hope you find this info useful :)

I was contemplating of possibly buying one of those niche websites. So far, number one concern is the not so low keyword competition as advertised. At least according to what I had opportunity to see myself.

It would be great to hear some more experiences from people who actually have bought those websites and gave it a good shot to develop them further.

I bought one from one of the most reputable micro niche sites seller on BHW, and I got HIGH Competition Keyword according to Google AdWords Keyword Planner.

So, I don't think I'm going to continue with it.

"High Competition" on Keyword planner, IS NOT* SEO compeition. It's Advertisers competitions. The amount of advertisers bidding on that keyword.

    It's not THAT easy.

Be prepared to work on the site for several months and be prepared to spend at least $250+ in SEO (most likely more once you factor in the costs for quality content and other stuff). Those authority site creation services aren't a shortcut to making quick money. They just create the sites for you and provide you a bunch of "supposedly" low competition keywords... you're still left with the main task of ranking your site which can take several months and more $$$.

Mate I don't want to be rude but why you are giving your opinion on something you don't know . On google planner, it's Advertisers competitions so you can have keywords with high Advertisers competitions and low SEP competition :)

Adwords competition is for advertiser only. It's practically useless to use for SEO competition.

Don't be fooled OP. They either sell you a site with low comp/non-money keyword or money keywords/high competitions.

Another thing, don't be fooled by the adwords CPC. Even if you get something in the $5-$10 CPC range you are most likely going to end up with $.20/$.50 CPC range as the bids tend to be alot lower outside of google's search engines.

Short answer: No, they don't. If it was literally as easy as "buy, forget and bank" we'd have professional investors buying all the services here...

I bought a micro niche like 4 years ago here on BHW and I was too lazy to develop the blog but I learned how a successful micro niche blog should be. I created a blog with the fundamentals, I even used the template and part of the structure. The rest is history, I don't regret the purchase, I didn't know what to do with the site that well. In other words you must have knowledge if you are planning to buy anything or you will waste money.

This. If it was that easy the sellers would have a gigantic inventory of them sitting there earning them millions instead of selling them off.

So in short, no, you can't just buy these sites and ignore them expecting the cash to come rolling in. It's not going to happen. You could buy one to take a look and see if you can learn anything from it, or use it as a base site but other than that I wouldn't bother really.

There's plenty of guides on each step with this shit on this site. You just have to dedicate some time to going through them all and have some patience later down the line.

It won't work right out of the box without any work. If it did they wouldnt sell it they would just rank and bank themselves.

What it does give you is leverage. One of my favourite Tony Robbins quotes is "if I don't have time, there is time I just have to leverage it". So, if you don't have so much time available in ur day to devote to actually creating the site (whether it's for money site or PBN) then outsourcing the creation of it is one way to leverage time.

I'd only use it for that reason. But I would definitely consider it for that reason.

You still have to invest in the site, whether it's time or money. If it's a complete heap of shit to start with then you're just wasting your time and money on it.

I didn't. I remember buying from each MNS Sellers and see that their content is spun or written by some grade schooler. Spent more than $1000 in buying to see who provides the best site. In the end, I just made my own because I was burning too much looking for quality.
I'd recommend you make your own and start there.

Previously had a look at a bunch of sellers and was never impressed with the samples sent.
If you need to get a site up fast then they might be useful for a noob just to get started but they won't earn a cent without considerable work and time.

I would actually advise noobs to try to build their site themselves as they will learn as they go, their first few sites probably won't make a dime but they will have learnt the process.
