As title says ... Do link building (Web 2.0, PNB, Niche Forum Posting etc) helps video to rank in YouTube?

If anybody had any success in past 3 - 6 months than please share your opinion.

We will highly appreciate any contribution to this thread.

In my experience I can say that I have had and I'm actually having good results with link building + social signals.
I can't be sure that it's all thank to link building only but after the links I've passed a competitor in the serp of Google.

Also try to embed the video in weebly websites (or wordpress etc...) and do link building to the websites... this could also help

Yes I checked and Social Signals of Big 3 really helps.

So far I did not get the wanted results from Link Building ...

So if I tweet my vid and then get it retweeted 1,000 times, will it boost my ranking?

Yes ,you can expect positive result from building some quality links to YT videos.

According to my experience back linking has great value and helps You Tube for ranking.

It'll help you to rank YT vids on Google, But Not on YT. You need subs, likes, comments, views, engagement etc for ranking on YT

Get rank on YouTube,Try Web 2.0,Video Commenting,Social Sharing,Q&A,Forum Posting(Niche Wise),all with drip feed manner so that your Video will get one very good position.

I think they do, but to some extent. I had a video ranking #5 for a long time, and no matter how many views, likes or w.e i sunt it was in the same spot.
I sent 50 PBN links to it, then it shot up to #2. So I'd have to say, yes. But avoid all spammy links, only use quality for youtube trust me. Its better in the long run when your video is being stubborn and wont rank

I have ranked some videos with pure spam in the last month, although they were out of serp's in less then a month but i did make money.
