Has anyone experienced that there .info sites arent ranking? I bought two .info exact match domains to target to pretty easy keywords based on my SEO research.

I have done directory submissions, SeNuke X campaigns, forum links, blog comments, wiki links, etc and its doesnt want to rank ANYWHERE in Google at ALL! Not even 1 single backlink shows up when I run my sites through backlink checkers. I even bought a Fiverr gig where itll put submit an article with a link to my site to ALN, UAW, and Article Ranks.

Do you guys experience similar things with your info domains?

Is your site even indexed? If not I honestly believe you are sandboxed (not in top 1000). Sounds like you took a bit too much of an aggressive stance on a rather easy keyword. For easy keywords, don't over do it. Take your time with a high pr low obl comments, and steady build to about 25 a day. You should be able to rank an .info without a problem.

Yes both are indexed. I checked now and theyre finally ranking but I have it feeling itll take an eternity to go to #1. My rankings are 80 for one and 200 for the other

My best ranking site is a .info domain. It's doing pretty good. I don't have a ton of backlinks either. It's not a emd either. One of the articles is ranking twice for a keyword I wasn't targeting.

Yeah it should have very little if anything to do with being a .info. You didn't mention anything about on page SEO, make sure that is up to snuff as well. Don't buy to much to fast, and shoot for quality over quantity and keep plugging away.

Can't imagine this has anything to do with the domain extension.

As mentioned, take a look at your on-page factors, and slow the blasts down a bit.

I have .info domains ranking. It sounds a lot more like an onpage penalty than a link building problem.

The sites are HTML sites so the onpage factor is kind of hard to get down. I also made a wordpress blog a few days ago for a clickbank product thats not gonna launch for two months and did some backlinking on it and still no rankings. But a youtube video I made, targeting the keywords ranked in a second lol

Just keep backlinking thats my opinion but dont flood the gates otherwise it will look to obvious. I outsourced my SEO and i went from nowhere to page 1, rank 6 for my main keyword, within a week of my SEO finishing, now thats with low competition im hoping to go higher, but actually should i wait and see the SERPs changes, before i do more backlinking?

I have had sites rank high instantly and then drop out and others come in ranking low and within a few weeks are on the first page. Look at all the factors. Slow efforts for a bit and see what happens.

Authority sites like youtube will usually rank a lot quicker, especially with a low competitive keyword.

What do you mean? Being built in HTML shouldn't make it difficult to get the onpage done right.

Info sites rank just the same as any other site. However, you do not get EMD bonus (exact match domain). Only .com, .net and .org get that.

So its not that .info sucks for purposes of SEO, its that it just doesn't rock as much as the com/net/org EMDs. An exact match .info should rank the same as a non-exact-match .com.
