I have an opt in list for free ebook built from reddit. I have around 70 emails there but from the start the open rates were around 50% for the book email and then around 18% for the follow up ones. Most of my emails have no links other than unsubscribe from the list as I try to warm up the email address I send the mails from. The past week or two however I have seen that my mail open rates have basically been under 5%.. which I think is due to poor open rates in the beginning and now gmail throwing my mails to promotions tab (sometimes even spam tab).

I though about using mail inbox warmers like https://www.mailwarm.com/ but I don't know if they actually work and make your mails not land in promotions/spam tab? My email content is not using spammy words etc but the engagement is still shit.

Has anybody used any mail warming service and has it helped? Also, why are they so different in pricing? The warmupinbox asks $9/month and at the same time mailreach is asking $39 and mailwarm $69..

From my experience they do work.

Warmupinbox works fine for me even though it’s a « cheap » solution. If you want some proper warming, use Mailreach. Mailwarm is overpriced in my opinion.

On my side, I tried most of the cold email warm-up solutions!

We are using Warmbox.ai and for now the only that can compete with them it's Mailwarm but it's more expensive :)
