Do I need to run tools such as Scrapebox, AMR, and SenukeX on a VPS? And do I need to buy a program to keep the IP's rotating so that no banning occurs?

If so please post in with suggestions. Thx

You could just use proxies with the software and you're fine.

I'm not sure if AMR allows proxies or not because I don't use it lol.

So there's no 3rd party proxy software that is better than what's already inside Scapebox or Senuke to run that I'll need?

And using either a VPN or something like Proxyswitch will give me better IP diversity than what the products themselves offer, right?

Secondly... do I really need this?

    Thx

The products don't come with proxies. You have to buy your proxies from a service or build, clean, and update your own lists - which is time consuming. If you buy 20 proxies, you load them in the software tool and it will randomize them for you. The IP diversity of proxies you buy is going to depend on the provider.

You don't _need_ to run them on a VPS. But depending on what ISP you have they might not like you for very long if you run the tools a lot ;-) You'll burn up a lot of bandwidth. That said, I run my tools intermittently and so I've been fine running them locally and not on a VPS, but there are occasional times when I've been running them a lot - like running Scrapebox 24/7 with a huge list, where I think my ISP has throttled me after a couple of days.

So the VPS is for the bandwidth and the proxies are a must because the products don't come with them then.

Is there a how-to guide to finding a service for proxies and how to use them? I think I'm gonna need em. thx

Sorry but Scrapebox and a VPN as mentioned by Server Flare? no... thats just useless for most tasks... to do mass PR/index checks having 10 proxies will let you do a lot more than having 1 VPN even if it has 10,000 IPs ...

You only need proxies in SEnuke if either of these apply

    • You want to use forum nuke and your host/ISP cares about regbot complaints
    • You want to create many accounts a day, as a number of the Social Networks and others have a limit to the number of signups a day you can do

What are some good VPS's and VPS's you would recommend?

Also do you think I need a VPS right now just for handling SEO for 3 sites?

I have my own VPS for SEO and for messing around with and I cant say how much i enjoy the flexibility of having full control. I have about 20 ips for mine that allows me to do lots with it. If you can afford it and have the time to spend on it, then i would recommend it.

As for recommendation of which one, get one that's close to you so that your upload speed is decent, I unfortunately wait for ever cause my VPS is on the other side of the world, but its so setup that i don't want to move it closer, so now i wait a lot. lol

So Make sure its close, that u get lots of ips, and that you have tons of bandwidth for it.
