Suppose I make $5000 total. I spent $4000 buying clicks, paying affiliates, etc.

Do I need to get a legal document of some sort from someone? What if the amount is $50,000 or $500,000?

Thanks

Stupid statement, if I only make 1k net I am not paying them for 5k worth of sales.

Anyone else?

How is that a stupid statement? When someone in a shop where they get paid per sale gets paid 5k in a month and he spends it on the things he needs and all he has left is 1k does the government give a fuck? no, like I said, the government gets paid first! and if you don't believe me go ahead and hire your own accountant and I guarantee he will tell you the exact same thing.

You're an idiot.

You get taxed on net income, not gross.

Enough Said.

This kid bought his accounting degree on DP for $7.

@ Jared - Advertising is an expense, and you don't (generally) pay taxes on expenses, but it's imperative that you can show that you're actually spending that money. If you can afford it I highly recommend you get a CPA.
