I found people that I was trying to offer a new website to. They have thier contact information on the first page of their shitty site so I emailed them a personal email offering to build a new website. This is the email I got back...lol.

You are failing to comply with Washington State's anti-spam laws. You MUST

Ps this guys "website" is powered by Yahoo so you can imagine what a P.O.S it is. What a dick.

Does anyone know if I have to put an unsubscribe link in ALL of my emails?

In my understanding you have done nothing wrong.. if you start harassing the guy with a series of emails, then yes you do have to include the link.. but that's just a simple one-time email asking something, so you should be ok.

The reason why he sent that email is that he probably gets 20 of those emails per day already, that method is used by a gazillion of online marketers :D

You should put an usub link in all of your emails.

if your a serious mailer or looking to you should be monitoring your complaint rates / and bounces.

If your just BH mailing and don't care, go to town on it.

All commercial emails must have a way for the recipient to decline any further communication from you. Either by providing a link to unsubscribe or an address so they can mail the request.
