I am starting CPA and CL. I don't have to blank any referrers if they are responding to my ad and visit my link from an email. That would just look like email marketing to my AM - I would tell him I have a huge opt-in list that I bought or have developed over the years. If I put the link in the ad, that is when I have to blank the ref, or DMR, or whatever.. right? TIA.

Always safer to blank or fake the referal.

Not exactly, if his offer is for email marketing and that is exactly what he is doing I would figure showing some yahoo, google and hotmail email servers would be better than having all of your traffic referrers blanked.

At least that's my take on it.

BTW, DMR is blanking the referrer. Faking is spoofing the referrer to make it look as if it came from a different page.
