Do Google suggestions (not adwords) always have search volume?

    hey all

I've used plenty kw tools and it seems sometimes they do not work right (or maybe always - in case of certain phrases). What I mean is that google suggestions show 0 search volume in these tools.

But they are made from search volume arent they? if there wasnt SV, there would be no suggestions.

My questiion is if these suggestions at the bottom of the search in Google always have ANY search volume? Thanks

Search the suggested keyword on adwords keyword planner and it will show you the volume.

Yes if they made the suggestions list it means they were searched for.

How much volume? Can't tell. If you search for something really exotic, it'll suggest other searches anyway, even if ONE person may have searched for it.

If you search for something truly high volume, then the suggestions are likely to be high volume too.

So in a nutshell: they don't provide volume info, just related LSI kw's.

Thanks thats the exact answer i wanted :). Yeah i focus on micro niches and thus these suggestions dont sometimes show volume in any tools (even not in adwords cuz its too small).

About the "1 person searchers", thats not a problem because even if these are micro niches, when i google it, i get 8 suggestions, then, these suggestions have suggestions as well.
If there was just 1 search then it wouldnt display me 8 suggestions but 4, and these suggested ones wouldnt have any suggestions when you click on them, but they have, so its impossible to have just one click search volume (or even 100/more SV, if there are many tiers of suggestions ahead).

Ill count on google :) thanks. I really like to know how things work.

The real advantage of following suggestions is that those are what Google's artificial intelligence thinks are related things.

So by looking at the suggestion, you can try get a better glimpse into Google's LSI brain.

I think they're gonna remove those in the future, basically 100% of Google's results pretty soon will be paid inclusion ads and snippets they take from wikipedia.

I believe yes, smart thing u said, defacto even if our main keyword showed suggestion that have very very low search volume in google, Google will still think that is LSI and therefore including it on site will bring big power to mainkeyword (increase relevancy by a lot).

not sure about "only paid ads" in search results tho. People would pay for adverts to scammy (but not visibly) and useless sites, therefore users would get tired of it and would switch to Yahoo or bing

About LSI that is exactly right - be creative ;)

About only paid ads : about 70% of the google search results are covered in adwords. All ads above the fold, all ads on the sidebar, ads everywhere, if you don't scroll down then google is now almost a pay per inclusion search engine like overture was in the old days.

Regular users can't tell ads from search results - you can pay to be #1 essentially.
