    Generally, social media sites don't let us post Do-Follow links. But there are some tricks that can help you get links with a Do-Follow tag there.

    For example:

    Google + By clicking the link icon in the "Share what's new" section, you can enter a link that will have a Do-Follow tag.

    Pinterest lets you enter a Do-Follow link to your website or blog in your social profile.

    YouTube. In case you promote a WordPress or Tumblr blog, you can add a link (that will end in wordpress.com or tumblr.com) to your channel's header, and that link will be Do-Follow.

    LinkedIn. In the "My Publications" section you can leave Do-Follow links to your articles/posts. But note, that these pages will get 302 redirects.

    And do you know any other ways to get Do-Followlinks from social media sites?

    On tumblr, you can add a link from the "link" button on the blog. That is a do follow link. A link in the description is a nofollow. If the link is reblogged, that is nofollow as well.

    Playing with your backlinks tool... its real nice bro but I think it only works to a root domain and not like a page on a large site?

    The tool lets you check backlinks to a particular page of your site. Here are the steps to follow:

    - click the 'Download all ... links' button (that will export all your links into a .csv file);
    - open the exported file;
    - sort all links by the 'Anchor URL' column.

    Thus, you will see which links point to a particular page of your website.

    hey webmeup, I've checked and I have been told that as of November 15, 2013 Pinterest links appeared to be nofollow again.

    Thanks for the update, @http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/728954-noelp.html.

    We have also checked that, and unfortunately have to confirm that a couple of weeks ago Pinterest changed its policy towards profile links - now all they get a nofollow tag. No matter whether you verify your website or not, your profile links will be nofollow.

    These links still hold some importance for directing people to your site, but search engines don't take them into account.
