If you have IG made in the USA with a USA email as well, but you login with a Korean proxy or Swesdish proxy, will anything bad happen, such as loss of USA reach? What if you are purely messaging USA users via private DM?

Nothing bad will happen. Make sure to use a clean proxy.

if you login a foreign proxy to a usa account they might
lock the account for safety reasons

If you are using a proxy from another country, you may receive content targeted for that specific country. They can also detect the mismatch between your locations and restrict your account. So, be careful when using a proxy with your IG account.
