I experienced the same. My site currently has 4 pages with unique content, one of them is locked with Adscendmedia's content locker and google refuses to index that one page. It doesn't matter though, I do not want my visitors to land on the content locker... Thats why I have a landing page instead, which makes the site look professional (or at least I think so :D ).

I am no Expert on this field, but as far as i know you have to set your content locker to wait a few seconds before locking up the page, so that Crawlers can access the page without running into your offers.

I always embed my contet lockers in an iframe so google can read the rest of the page. All of them get indexed perfectly fine!

Actually Google don't love content locking. but they don't hate them as well. I have never seen any kind of problem while locking my contents. And You can see that there is a huge number of sites that are using Content locking. if it was a problem then why are they using it?

I always lock sub-pages or links. Locking your main page isn't a good idea for SEO or conversions.

Content locker can affect badly in your site's ranking as google robot can't get pass through your content to analyze it. Content locking is almost useless if you rely only in SEO.

I would suggest creating a website with content on it, and linking the articles to a sub-domain with the content locker on it. That way, Google and your visitors can access the page -- but those who want a bit more will go to the sub-domain.

I sued to look into PPD and content locking a lot, and I always read in guides methods to specifically rank these types of sites, so I don't think so. Having your site de-indenxed can be due to literally hundreds of different reasons.

What types of content are you locking?

Are you getting traffic from weird sources such as auto-surf sites?

    Etc...

I'd assume that any issue with indexing/ranking the locked page comes from exactly that problem - it's locked... I've not played with locking before, but how do the bots access it if real users cant? You'd need to run a cloaking script of some type presumably, and that's possibly where the issue arises?
