DMR Blank Referrer

I want to blank my referrer, but I don't have a blackhat page I'm trying to hide. I have an optimized whitehat blog/landing page for each offer I run. I am getting these leads through CL emails though (real emails not @craigslist.org)

I just want the referrer to come up as blank from those emails, what is the best way to go about it? Do I have to do a DMR or is a simple redirect fine? What the code be for this?

You don't want referrer blanking, you're needing a faked referrer.

Since you're wanting it to look as if the traffic is coming from your site, you're going to want a referrer faking script.

That will get him banned from his network... Imagine the questions he won't be able to answer when his AM asks him why all his traffic (that should be coming from his WH site) has no referrer.

I'm a little wary of installing that program..but is there any way to blank the referrer without having a page to hide? What I want to hide is just the email referrer.

Also if I have more than 20 different offers in different niches, do I need to get 20 different domains to DMR each one?

First, it isn't a program, it's a script you run on your website.

Second, did you happen to read anything I told you above? I said, if your referrers show blank (i.e. NOT showing your blog as a referrer) you will be banned before you get a payout because you can't explain WHY they're blank and NOT showing your blogs referrer.

Most sites will ban you for blanking all of the traffic. Ebay is one for example. So its not that funny. You need to fake it.

I've been blanking for over a year on various CPA companies and have not heard a peep.

Fail.

Is this enough to blank the referrer? I could make another landing page besides the one I already have. This new landing page would redirect to my original landing page, which has an image link to my offer. Is this what I should do to get rid of that email referrer?

I said if he told his AM that he is doing website marketing he will be questioned as to why his referrer is blank and not showing his site, common sense.

YOU WILL BE QUESTIONED AS TO WHY YOUR TRAFFIC IS BLANK (This, of course, is ONLY true if you should have a trailing referrer from a site). If you told your AM that you're promoting an offer from a BLOG/SITE on the internet and like magic all your referrers turn up blank how exactly are you going to explain it? I could understand using a DMR with a website traffic and your AM believes you're doing email marketing.

But that's not what the OP is doing, is he? I didn't think so.

I do to, I prefer blanking over faking. But did you happen to read the OP's post? Or... even my post? I don't think you did.

He said he has a blog, which is whitehat. I'm guessing he told his AM he's going to promote the blog, that's called website marketing, k? Now, don't you think he's going to get questions about why EVERY REFERRER IS BLANK, when he SHOULD have his referrer coming from his blog?

Just have a look around this forum there are hundreds of people blanking the referrer and still getting paid (including me) as to reasons why the referer is blank if asked by your AM.

Just tell them you want to protect your keywords and LP from being copied, tell them it happened to you before and you need to be very careful to protect your sources.

There a a lot of other reasons you can find throughout the forum.
