    Hi fellow blackhatterz,

I had a movie site which was doin ok up until this morning.
Google has de-indexed my site completely.

I checked it in google by doing site:mymoviesite.com

and no results apppeared. at the bottom of the results page was a DMCA notice!

It appears to be that on the 21st April this year Warner bros submitted DMCA notice against one of my pages which featured the movie "sucker punch"

I dont why google has de-indexed my whole site and not just that page but they have!:(

Now back then in April my site did link to copyrighted movies.

But in June/July this year I changed all that and there is no longer any copyrighted content on my site.
all links on my site simply link to 3rd party affiliates.

Now, my question is , should i just go ahead and submit my site to Google to be reconsidered?

ANy help would be appreciated guyz.

I think that might be your own chance of getting re-index...its probably going to be tough so you might consider moving on to a new domain.

You have nothing to lose... if worse comes to worse just get a new domain.

To save all the trouble you are going to face, get a new domain. I have been through this several times and the site will never do as good as it did before the DMCA.

You say that you're site only linked to the copyrighted movie. So it didn't actually host the movie, but rather had a link that said something along the lines of, "Watch the movie on this 3rd party site." Is that right?

I'm just wondering because I just started a website like this and I'd rather not fall victim to what happened to you. This seems like a good learning experience of what both the movie industry and Google thinks of these sites.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

And while you're at it, move to a new country, change your name and get some plastic surgery too. Perhaps even a sex change could be in order.

yea, it just linked to the movie.
    So don't even go there.
The site now just links to 3rd party affiliate.
Im gona try n get it re-instated then see how it goes.

Ive noticed that evry guy on first page of google for search term "free movies online" are doin the same thing.

no one actually links to copyrighted content. they just provide "download" linnks to 3rd party affiliate.

ill let you know how i get on.

    ;)

    hey Charlie,
Im thinking oif changing my strategy from long term to short term.
As i dig deeper into this i find out that theres a war going on between us and the the movie companies. Its nothing really to do with Google.

MY DCMA was served by Warner Bros to Google.

    Google need to comply.

Theyve won this battle but not the war.

I think now im gona need to fight this one guerrilla style ...hit em hard n fast n dissapear coz if you stand in fight they got millions of dollars and will beat you.

So think again about your movie site strategy my man.

Make a claim for damages against Warner Brothers for loss of earnings.

yea..no chance. been told that the movie/music/industry strategy is to swot the little guy if they start to show up on the radar.....why do they not go afte rthe big guyz making 100,000's $$ a day?.....becoz they know they can afford to fight them!!

So as soon as you start to show up on the radar (like i was) they gun you down and try to prevent you from growing anymore.....becoz if you grow...you can fight them.

I agree...no chance. I aint got 100,000's of $$ to fight warner brothers.
    they know that.

But what i do got is BHW and im gona hit them back ....blackhat style.

I like the movie niche.. loads of people searching....willing to click and install anyshit you show them......new subject matter i.e. new movies being released every do often.....SO fuck them I will be back.
