Heya! I have a movie streaming website that's been going well for the first couple of days. My domain is currently assigned to NiceNic, and I have heard they're strict on DMCA reports. My domain TLD is .to. Would it be a good move to assign my domain to tonic.to? I did whois on a couple of other movie sites, and some of them are assigned to tonic.to and have lasted a while, so yeah I would like to hear an advice from people who have been in the topic for a while and if you have a domain for something similar how long has it been since you started working with them and who is the provider, cause right now I am kinda stuck and don't know the right move to do, I did read a couple articles but ended up being more clueless then I was before

Good advice above RE: ensuring you have back-up domains in place. In my experience, particularly over the past 6-9 months, while there is no outright "DMCA ignored" registrar (accredited - not the Njalla resellers...), there are some which are much more lenient and then tend to registered of operated out of the territories (Russia, China, etc.,,) you would expect. For example; Cnobin, Ps.kz, R01.ru and Reg.ru. Good luck and hope it all works out for you.

(BTW: Tonic do regularly get subpoenaed and respond to them as their HQs are in the US...so make sure you have the right opsec in place (e.g., never connect without utilising a VPN)
