DIY Quality Infographics

I guess this is the correct forum to ask this question.

I am looking to learn how to make my own infographics for my product. I see these marketplace threads and i want to make something kinda similar to those that i can put in like a slide show video on facebook... what programs do you guys who know what you are doing reccommend to use for this purpose.. thanks!

Did you consider using, Genially. it's free. Take a look before and see if it suits your needs. It has some great templates for infographics as well as interactive images. There are temples for video presentations too.

I currently use Illustrator because I got an educator’s discount, however for years - like a decade - I used Scribus which is a free open source illustrator/page layout software, which is the type of tools you need for infographics.

Scribus is kind of messy - I like to say it “walks with a limp”- but it gets the job done and working around the limitations for ten years helped build me to be a strong graphic designer; like, their color management software is very unintuitive and clunky, so it forced me to commit to a limited, strong color palette as opposed to having the full spectrum to play with.

I can put it like this; for something that’s free, it’s about 60% of what Illustrator is but it has a strong community that can show you how to work around the limitations and as a new user, you probably wouldn’t need the functionality that’d be offered for the licensed software.

To me, Scribus is like a leaky, rusty but functional boat that will get you where you want to go

Illustrator is my favorite program for creating.

Illustrator old version, the cs version not that good bit harder to understand.

same with Dreamweaver old version grate new stuff too complicated.
