DIY Projector vs Brought Projector

hey peoples,
Okay im looking at making the ultimate cinema experience in my new room (moving house)....

Ive got a pc ready for this already however i was looking a while ago about building a projector myself instead of buying one.....

now some of you who have never seen a home made projector may be thinking wtf but go google it

however i wanna know what you think is better? diy or purchased

diy = more fun, longer bulb life + cheaper to fix, cheaper to make

brought = quick, easy, expensive bulbs that dont last 5 mins, expensive, remote control

depends on your budget and how much do you really want it
If you really want it quickly, buy it, if not, I would recommand DIY

Dude, the best thing you can possibly do is get an older CRT style PJ. The only downside is the size and ugliness BUT the good old analogue quality and life of the tubes far outwweighs it in my view. You shud be able to pick one up in your price range, ebay it. Go for an older Sony or Seleco

Nope only want a new style projector..... want it to look nice and has to be small....
