Does google detect links from Disqus comments? it shows in website but I heard google couldn't detect them.

Also does google detect the link if it's not highlighted/clicable? Some websites don't automatically highlight links even when you include the http tag

I don't think it crawls disqus, but can't be 100% sure

It it's clickable, then it a nofollow link. If it isn't clickable, then Google will view it as an ordinary text.

wut then how would a link be ******** ....

I would think the value would be traffic as opposed to SEO with disqus.

From what I know they are nofollow links, so I doubt they'll really help. They still add up to a natural looking backlinks profile though. I try to have some legit comments in the links only for diversity.

What about livefyre? Found a really good website using it but I don't know if it's also nofollow or if google simply doesn't detect it

EDIT: Yea it's nofollow too. Damn it's a pain to find high pr blogs with low OBL that are dfollow jesus >.<

I've seen comments from Disqus that are searchable in Google, but the vast majority are not. I presume that it is up to the site administrator to configure Follow/No Follow as an option.

One can bet that all other such software (e.g. livefyre) are the same.
