try the seoquake toolbar. you'll get all the infos you need and I'm not just talking about the backlinks of different sites.

Seo Spyglass is the dogs. It all depends on how in depth you want to go. Alot of time can be wasted analyzing links. Remember Page Rank doesnt mean anything if you are one amongst 100's of other links and nothing at all if its a NoFollow link...
