I have seen that my client has disavowed (without consulting me) some links that aren't really that bad so I am thinking of uploading a new disavowal txt file where I will remove these disavowed links and hope that Google with start counting them again.

Is this an OK thing to do, won't it raise any red flags or is it even worthy or the links are gone forever?

    thanks

I could be wrong but when you disavow links it is telling Google you do not want those links associated with
your website. By adding them back it looks pretty suspicious. If I was you and this was my money site I would just
count it as a loss and then tell my guy to never disavow unless consulting me first.
