    Hi,

I submitted the text file through the Google disavow tool a month ago. I still see the links showing up on Webmasters Tools. I also received a response to my reconsideration request: "there's still bad links, blah, blah...".

How do I know they take the disavow request into account?

    Thanks

Better try to remove them manually if you have the usernames & passwords of those you think are bad links.. or else... you must write a letter to a webmaster asking to remove the link or make them nofollow. I know it is a bloody process but that's the only way your penalty will get remove.

If the comment is nofollow, just skip that link as it won't do any harm on your site... the only problem is.. if the link is do follow and is considered as bad link... what you should be doing is to email the website owner or its webmaster asking to remove the bad links or make it nofollow...

you just have to be carefully when doing such link removal because you may not know if the link you are going to remove is good or bad! you must know how to differentiate between good and bad links!

I hope this article will help you from seomoz...

once disavowed they are removed instantly, but it takes them a while to review your site link structure. It might stay on webmaster tools simply because it is still a link to your site, it is just that Google don't consider them in regards to SERPS

So... there's no notification at all once disavowed, right? I still see them in Webmasters Tools after 6 weeks.

    Thanks

Rubbish so 10k of NOFOLLOW links are ignored and make no difference,I think not.If 99% of scrapebox links are nofollow, bit odd how they affects sites is it not.Lmk your website and I'll give you 50k worth see if you change your tune then.

I have links showing in G WMT from sites that don't exist anymore. How do I find out if they consider them "bad" links and where do I find the disavow tool? I know the panda and penguin caused some of the links going to my site to penalize me but.. how to undo them is the question.
