I uploaded a ton of domains and links to disavow monthsss ago, and they still show up on webmaster tools. I got a message about disavow list updated, but it was in July, and I've updated my disavow file a few times since then.

Does google just ignore some disavows? Do they disavow the links without saying anything? Or do they just take a year to actually disavow?

Would love some insight on the disavow tool. Please and Thank you!

The links should still show in your webmaster tools but will be ignored by Google(so I'm told). I am waiting on a site as well and have told it can take weeks to months depending.

How do I go about sending a reconsideration email? This site doesn't have a manual penalty, otherwise I know I can just send a request by going to the manual penalty page, but this isnt the case.

Unfortunately you can't just disavow links. The sad thing is that you have to show Google that you tried to remove the links and give proof in your reconsideration request.

Don't bother sending one unless in your GWT account there is a message there saying you have a manual penalty.

Yes those links will countinue to show if G processed your disavow request. The problem is: Did your ranking improved after submit disavow request months ago ?
