pass this on... before it's you!
Roughly 50% of all police officers are sociopaths that influence the ones that wanted to be good cops and uphold the law correctly into following the bullshit blue code of silence.
You will never see one cop basically say to another cop "This is illegal we cannot do that, and if you continue to violate the law I will arrest you". Because they have all been brainwashed into believing that being a cop is being part of a "brotherhood".
Pretty funny. The videos title is a bit self prophetic though.
"DUI checkpoint video goes viral".
While the kid was technically correct, the Supreme Court many years ago ruled DUI checkpoints legal. But they can't stop every car and must have a procedure filed with the State that outlines the "randomness" of their detainments. The Supreme Court ruled (mistakenly IMO) that as long as the checkpoint wasn't signaling out a specific race and was checking vehicles on a prescribed random order then they were legal.
The kid needs to do more research before he gets his ass beat up or killed being a wannabe lawyer. I had a close friend that was a licensed and seasoned "bull dog" Attorney that argued cases in Federal Court. He represented me on some very serious charges and nipped it in the bud but I'll never forget the story he shared.
In a Federal case against some bad-ass cops he was followed to a grocery store. While at the store he was kidnapped and taken far out of town. There they beat him for several hours and threatened to kill him many times. He said he knew he was as good as dead. They finally all just packed up and left him there and after about 8 hours he found a road and someone gave him a ride. It was on that day he semi-retired because he no longer needed the money and didn't want to be killed. He removed himself from that case.
His wise words were, if you ever get stopped by an Officer, you respect him and do as he wishes. NEVER disobey an order, even if you know it's wrong. Officers have a license to kill you and with just a good set of words they WILL get away with it. If you have a disagreement you don't let the Officer know but take it up in Court at a later time.
Maybe these words will keep some kid here out of trouble as they did me the last 30 years. You might be right but you'll be dead right if you cross the wrong Officer and there are no witnesses.
Good advise kvmcable. Because you know shit like that does happen - some people dont realise that just because the law is on their side, it doesnt mean they are safe, especially as a lot of people in this world dont like being forced into a corner and I guess if you bump into the wrong cop your f'ed.
This is true, my criminal justice professor was telling us this
Good words here mate.
I thought most of them were punks picked on in high school and now are seeking revenge on society and
playing out their psychological condition.
Some information about how bad local police can get.
Just because someone is wearing a uniform does not make them honest or decent.
I trust people less who wear a damn uniform.
The kid antagonized the cop about rolling his window down. Is he right? He might be but he also just created suspicion and a cop will act on that.
IDK I like the point the kid was making but I think a lot of cops treats you based on how you treat them.
That's nothing here in the US, a cop put a gun to my head and told me he was going to blow my brains out just because my sister had expired plates on her car. I wasn't being belligerent or anything, he looked like he was a new cop. Needless to say they let us go without a ticket or anything. They can pretty much do what they want.
Even though many of you don't like the FBI and DOJ for what they do sometimes, they are really good when it comes to civil rights issues. Either them or a civil rights group need to run ads in areas of the USA where cops abuse civil rights, showing the website and phone number of the DOJ and FBI's contact person in that area for investigating civil rights abuses.
this video should be title as "Police dealing with stupid Americans in checkpoint"... freedom my ass it should be use in a right and reasonable way... i mean Are you a us citizen sir ? does it take away your freedom if you answer yes or no ?
Police is one of the professions in which no matter what they do, people will bash them one way or the other. It does not matter which country or region is the police force from, they are always bashed.
The thing we forget sometimes is that their necks are caught first when something goes wrong and also their necks are caught first when they want to investigate. Both the ways they are called culprit.
They do a job in which they have to deal with criminals day and night and yet they try to adjust as much as they can. It becomes hard for people browsing Youtube and chatters on Facebook to understand their duty and service.
Lets also try to see the circumstances in which they work before accusing them.
Hilarious! The bullshit that goes on in the US.
kiddies stop posting bs and do a proper research.DUI's are legal which was confirmed by supreme court thats right but you just have to stop your vehicle and allow them to question you.BUT you dont need to answer any questions or to consent on a car search or what so ever.Thats an immigration checkpoint.A k-9 dog can't sniff aliens/ilegal non residents. There was already a very known case in the US where the DUI officer had lost the case and had to answer the question how a k-9 dog would be able to sniff ilegal non residents.
The young boy just got frightened buy the old authority game as the DUI guy upraised his voice and created a no normal situation by surrounding his car.If the young buy would keep denying the cops would never enter his car or use any force.NEVER EVER!!!!.He just lost the mental war and consent to give up his rights. The officer never detained him or anything it was all on free will. They are using dirt tricks and you can learn it by learning the black law dictionary
Obviously you've never been in a Court of Law when it's your word against an Officer's words. Well, I've been there. I witnessed an Officer that wasn't even at the scene, swear under oath he was there and witnessed the whole thing. When I questioned and my Attorney questioned the Office he stuck to his story. The Judge asked me if I'd ever met this Officer before this altercation and of course I hadn't. The Judge then ruled that because I'd never met this Officer before then he couldn't have any prejudice against me and therefore no reason to lie. GUILTY.
Now you take your Internet law lessons and shove them up your ass before you get some kid hurt or in serious trouble. The only thing any of those Cops had to say was I saw him reach for what I thought was a weapon. They can drag him out of that car and beat the living shit out of him. An Officer's word is law unless you have clear proof they're lying and even then you have to get your proof admitted as evidence. If you think the Courts work like those shows on TV you're sadly mistaken.
Why do judges believe the police over regular people?
