Directory submission still efficient ?

    Hello all,

    i can see some directory submission service on bhw...

    in this post penguin era, are they still safe and worth the investment ?

    I think directory submission is safe and i also tried directory submission on my own sites it's safe and my sites is also ranked up. Blog commenting is also safe i also tried that.

    of cause it's definitely worth any because if you don't know that Google give high pritority to those sites which are listed in DMOZ directory so you can expect that Google gives importantance to directory submission :)

    Depending on how much time and/or money, I would do at least some submissions, especially if you can pick better quality ones. It's definitely not the priority it used to be a few years ago.

    Do submissions on relative directories that aren't full of spam and have some PR to make your link portfolio look more diverse. But don't think that doing 2,000 directory submissions on crappy directories is going to give your site any significant, long-standing boost in the SERPs.
